To Be Or:

🎨🎨🎨Lindsey Graham’s bill on sanctions against Russia is planned to be brought to a vote next week, according to my source at the American Coalition for Ukraine. Apparently, the House Rules Committee will approve the bill, which will allow Speaker Johnson…

🤞The House Rules Committee overnight approved Lindsey Graham’s bill on sanctions against Russia without any amendments.

There are no longer any obstacles to Speaker Johnson putting the bill up for a vote.

Two steps remain:

1) a procedural vote;

2) a vote directly on the bill.

For both, a simple majority is enough (50% + 1 vote).

The procedural vote is expected today. The session begins at about 12:00 in Washington (19:00 in Moscow and Kyiv), and the vote itself at about 13:30 (20:30 in Moscow and Kyiv).

If everything goes well, the final vote will be tomorrow afternoon in Washington (evening in Moscow and Kyiv).
