Hungary has officially recorded the highest turnout since 1998: 74.2% as of 5:00 p.m. Budapest time, with another two hours of voting still ahead.
Before this, the record figure was in 2002: 70.5%.
Polymarket is now giving opposition leader Peter Magyar 84% (it was 78% in the morning). Kalshi gives him 86% (it was 79%).
The vote count will begin after 7:00 p.m. Budapest time (8:00 p.m. in Moscow and Kyiv).
