Russia intends to replace Armenian agricultural goods with products from Azerbaijan, which is not part of the EAEU

Vladimir Putin’s special representative Boris Titov said this to Sputnik Azerbaijan during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

According to him, Azerbaijan can supply Russia with significantly more agricultural products than Armenia.

🔵Despite the fact that Armenia remains in the EAEU, Russia has imposed a ban on imports from the country of certain types of flowers, vegetables, fruits, the mineral water "Jermuk" and a number of other goods. In addition, Moscow has threatened to suspend or terminate the agreement on supplies of gas, petroleum products, and diamonds if Yerevan continues to stay on course toward joining the European Union.

🔵Azerbaijan is not part of the EAEU.
