Two of Putin’s relatives spoke at SPIEF

Agentstvo drew attention to the fact that on the first day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Vladimir Putin’s younger daughter Katerina Tikhonova and the president’s first cousin’s granddaughter Elena Fisenko both spoke at the event.

Tikhonova, who heads the company Innopraktika, took part in the pharmaceutical forum held as part of SPIEF, once again delivering a speech by video link, as she also did in 2024 and 2025.

It was devoted to import substitution in pharmacology and to the Interagency Coordination Council for Pharmacological Innovations and the register of priority developments in this field.

“The ultimate goal of all this is domestic full-cycle pharmaceutical innovations, which must provide end users with our homegrown developments,” Tikhonova noted.

Fisenko, in her capacity as Russian Railways’ director for medicine, spoke at the session “Workers’ Health: New Vectors and Solutions.” This was her seventh participation in the forum. There she explained how Russian Railways medicine helps preserve health in the workplace and increase the birth rate.
