Zelensky says he is ready to hold talks with Putin rather than wait for the U.S. to “end all conflicts in the world”
The Ukrainian president said this during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
“I am ready for direct talks with Putin to end this war. Rather than wait for the U.S. to end all conflicts in the world,” Volodymyr Zelensky said.
He added that Kyiv has already been waiting “a very long time” for a negotiating group from the United States to visit. Zelensky stressed that he considers Washington “the strongest side, one that can push Putin toward ending the war.”
