Adam Delimkhanov received a record number of votes among single-mandate candidates in United Russia’s primaries, several times more than Vyacheslav Volodin and Irina Yarovaya

State Duma deputy from Chechnya Adam Delimkhanov set a 2026 record for the number of votes cast in support of him among single-mandate candidates in United Russia’s primaries, Verstka noticed.

According to the United Russia preliminary voting website, Delimkhanov won decisively in District No. 41 (Chechen), receiving support from 119,500 voters. Or 14.36% of all voters in that district.

At the same time, State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, who won the primaries in a single-mandate district in his native Saratov region, received only 48,000 votes. In addition to the district, Volodin also ran in the primaries from the whole Saratov region as a territory, where he received more than 179,000 votes.

Another well-known deputy, State Duma vice speaker Irina Yarovaya, received only just over 20,000 votes in Kamchatka. And deputy Vitaly Milonov in St. Petersburg managed to collect only 18,000.

🟦United Russia’s 2026 primaries, as in past years, were marked by a large number of complaints about administrative coercion to vote. For example, as Verstka wrote, Kamchatka state employees encountered this, as they were forced to vote for Irina Yarovaya.
