Officials in Russia, fearing mobilization, are moving assets abroad and urging loved ones to leave the country, Bloomberg says

Citing documents, the outlet writes that fears of a possible large-scale mobilization after the elections are growing not only among ordinary Russians, but also among officials in the Kremlin.

According to documents reviewed by Bloomberg, in recent months Russian officials and military enlistment office employees have been trying to open accounts in foreign banks, move assets abroad, and persuade their loved ones and relatives to leave Russia. Bloomberg provides no other details.
