The Russian state continues to mock and abuse the country’s socially vulnerable citizens by sending them to slaughter in Ukraine.

This is 52-year-old Nikolai from Bashkortostan. Nikolai has been disabled since childhood and comes from a large family. He cannot read or write and can barely express himself coherently. And someone like this was sent to “liberate” a neighboring country.

He was sent, as always, through sheer lawlessness. A police officer and someone in black clothing met an intoxicated Nikolai in the entrance hall and slipped him some kind of document. Thinking it was a detention report (after all, he cannot read), he signed it. The next day, people from the military enlistment office came for him. Then came the standard scheme: the “recruit” ended up in assaults in Donbas, where he was taken prisoner by fighters of the Spartan Brigade of Ukraine’s National Guard.

It is obvious that someone like Nikolai cannot be a full-fledged combat unit. He is no soldier at all. The only thing his commander-fathers can do with him is send him to walk along assigned points as an “opener.” In most cases, such wretched assault troops die. Ingloriously and senselessly. But someone will report that a plan or task was completed, trading their life for a piece of paper or a little medal. A murderer state, a cannibal state.
