An audio version of the book “Patriot” has been released for Alexei Navalny’s 50th birthday

It can be listened to for free on the One Book Publishing website, politician’s widow Yulia Navalnaya said.

I really want this day, June 4, not to pass unnoticed. So that Alexei is not forgotten. So that you, like me, can feel him close by — at least today.

I tried very hard to come up with something special for you. And this is the gift that came out for everyone — this year we made an audiobook of Alexei’s memoir “Patriot.”

It is read by amazing people close to you, people to whom his memory is dear. Each of them lived through a part of life together with him — and put their soul into this reading. It turned into something very alive, very warm. When I listened, I both cried and smiled.

Navalny’s team wrote that the audiobook was voiced by people close to Alexei (his children and Yulia herself), artists, journalists, writers, politicians, and public figures. Among them are TV Rain journalists Tikhon Dzyadko and Mikhail Fishman, as well as Boris Akunin, Noize MC, Mikhail Zygar, Leva Bi-2, Naoko, and others.
