Andrei Makarov, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes and the moderator of the session Nabiullina was supposed to attend, said that she was unable to take part for “objective reasons.”
🔵Earlier, Nabiullina disappeared from the speakers list in the SPIEF program. On June 4, she was supposed to take part in two sessions of the forum.
Earlier, Vedomosti, citing a source, reported that the Central Bank chief’s absence was connected with the funeral of her adviser Alexei Mozhin. According to a Central Bank statement, he died on June 3.
