People are bringing flowers to Alexey Navalny's grave on what would have been his 50th birthday

Muscovites began coming to Navalny's grave as soon as Borisovskoye Cemetery, where the politician is buried, opened. In addition to visitors, there are several journalists at Navalny's grave and about a dozen plainclothes people, RusNews reports.

At the entrance to the cemetery, bags and personal belongings are being checked with a handheld metal detector. People are laying flowers on Navalny's grave, and some are reading poetry.
