Dmitry Aleksandrovich Bugakov recorded a video address to the commander of the 20th Army, which includes the 283rd Regiment. According to him, he and other servicemen recruited for the war from prisons, including those who had been wounded, were kept in slavery by their commander.

Dmitry could not take it anymore and went AWOL. Now he will be forced to hide for the rest of his life or surrender to the authorities and receive up to 15 years in prison.
