Kazakhstan to halt oil shipments through Novorossiysk because of Ukrainian strikes on tankers in the Black Sea
Kazakhstan will halt oil shipments through Novorossiysk because of Ukrainian strikes on tankers in the Black Sea
Bloomberg was told this by two sources.
“Shipping companies consider it too dangerous to send their vessels for loading,” one of the agency’s interlocutors noted.
As the outlet states, the reason was Ukraine’s attacks on tankers in the Black Sea. The day before, the tanker Nelsa was struck by a drone while loading oil at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) terminal in Novorossiysk, and a fire broke out.
