The FSB said a man who was preparing to blow up railway tracks in the Urals was killed.

According to the agency, a Tyumen resident who, on instructions from Ukrainian special services, was preparing a terrorist attack at one of the key industrial enterprises in the Urals, offered armed resistance during detention and was killed by return fire.

According to the FSB, the 60-year-old native of the Ukrainian SSR, who lived in Tyumen, contacted Ukraine's special services and intended to blow up railway tracks.
