The U.S. will propose declaring a moratorium on strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure and Russian energy facilities, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Fox News.
“This is about a freeze in terms of stopping attacks. That is exactly what we would propose. We believe it would be an excellent idea, a ceasefire [with regard to strikes on] energy infrastructure, under which neither Ukrainian infrastructure nor Russian energy supplies would be attacked,” Rubio said, noting that this would be the “ideal outcome.”
