Putin advised postponing the reduction of the business revenue threshold for paying VAT
He said this during the plenary session at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
At the end of November, Vladimir Putin signed a law providing for a phased reduction of the small business revenue threshold for paying VAT: from 2026 to 20 million rubles, from 2027 to 15 million, from 2028 to 10 million.
During his speech at the forum, Putin called for postponing the further reduction of the threshold and keeping it at its current level.
