It spoke about Russia’s role in resolving conflicts in the 1750s (back then Europe and America were “being buffeted,” the narrator said), during the Second World War, and in the course of the war in Syria in 2015. The video features Catherine II, Admiral Fyodor Ushakov, Joseph Stalin, and Vladimir Putin.


“Pragmatic dialogue is the path to a stable future,” the video says at the end.
