In St. Petersburg, three people were injured during the massive UAV attack, Beglov said.
“The condition of the three injured is assessed as light, they have been discharged home,” the official wrote on Telegram.
In Leningrad region, residents of nearby houses were evacuated after a UAV attack and a fire at a Defense Ministry facility in Bolshaya Izhora.
“At the moment, more than 600 people have been evacuated from the security zone, 390 of them are in temporary accommodation centers, the rest have gone to relatives,” Governor Drozdenko said.
Because of the drone attack, Kronstadt was temporarily closed for exit and entry (the restrictions have now been lifted), and the city also canceled the Kronstadt Sails festival, which was supposed to take place on June 6 and 7 as part of the cultural program of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
