In Sevastopol, gasoline started being sold via QR codes. They ran out within an hour.

The system, launched at gas stations operated by the TES chain, is supposed to help reduce queues at filling stations. With it, residents can buy up to 20 liters of gasoline per week.

However, on the very first day, all QR codes available for the day were snapped up in less than an hour. According to Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev, a new batch of codes will become available only on the evening of the following day.

Against the backdrop of the shortage, some stores have also introduced restrictions on the sale of certain goods. Thus, in one Sevastopol supermarket, customers are allowed to buy no more than one package of dairy products, three bags of sugar, and three bottles of sunflower oil per person.
