On April 27, Ksenia Sobchak gave an interview to Zinaida Pronchenko in which she shared her opinion about representatives of the Russian authorities. Here is the briefest retelling of those statements.

✹ Dmitry Peskov, press secretary to the president of the Russian Federation. Dima Peskov is an extremely decent person. I know many cases when he helped people completely selflessly. He did this often and in relation to many people. At the beginning of the war, he said warm words about me and about Ivan Urgant. And he stopped the savage mechanism of denunciations and deranged discourse.

✹ Sergey Kiriyenko, deputy head of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation. Sergey Vladilenovich Kiriyenko is an effective manager in certain areas. He builds systematic work, and in some areas he achieves results. A lot may be unlikeable, but let's at least acknowledge that.

✹ Sergey Sobyanin, mayor of Moscow. I observe his effective work. In difficult situations, with the economy, with drones flying in, a lot of good things continue to get done in Moscow. That's a fact. I see how medicine is developing in Moscow. You come in and you really see the results.

✹ The security forces. They vary too. Sometimes they are very smart, with very progressive views. It's a very uneven multicolored carpet. There are people who are firmly interested in the continuation of the war, in spending on armaments. And there is another group that believes negotiations should be held and everything should be ended as soon as possible. You can't oversimplify it and say: "There, the regime."

✹ Vladimir Putin, president of the Russian Federation. Putin effectively creates a balance among different groups and very effectively balances these groups that are very different from one another and sometimes in serious conflict. Thanks to Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, I can live in this country, I can work, rather than sit in prison. I am grateful for the opportunity to do small good deeds.
