German investigators have linked the arson attack in Munich to Russian intelligence

FAZ, citing sources in German security agencies, reports that investigators have linked the September 3 arson attack in Munich to the GRU.

At the time, a fire broke out in the Bavarian capital on the grounds of a construction site near the offices of the defense companies Rohde & Schwarz and Helsing, after incendiary devices were thrown from a passing car. The damage was minor, and there were no injuries. A second flammable object was found at the same site; it did not ignite and was defused. Police detained the suspects almost immediately: two Bulgarian citizens.

FAZ also writes that the GRU had planned to carry out acts of sabotage in Slovakia, but the attempted arson there failed.
