Two sources familiar with the contents of the proposal told RBC about this.

According to one of the publication’s sources, the ministry sent a letter to the relevant state agencies before the detention of top managers and co-owners of EuroTrans on charges of stealing fuel during supplies for police in Moscow Region. This is the company that manages the Trassa gas station chain.

RBC’s source clarified that the proposal to consider applying Vladimir Putin’s decree No. 604 to the operator of Trassa was justified by the need to ensure the safety of petroleum product storage facilities.

So far, no positive decision has been made on this issue: alternative concepts are being considered, including the possibility of one of the major oil companies obtaining the gas station operator’s assets.
