Putin thanked Russians for taking part in the elections and said this vote was in support of participants in the war with Ukraine

He said this at a meeting with members of the government.

“I want to thank the citizens of Russia for their active participation in this election campaign. It is well known that they tried to interfere with us, to disrupt these elections, as evidenced by the enemy’s constant attempts to break through the air defenses of Moscow and other regions. But the lines at polling stations show that it is impossible to intimidate Russia,” Vladimir Putin noted.

After that, he addressed participants in the war with Ukraine: “I want you to know, comrades, this vote is for you.”

“People believe in you. They believe in our victory. They believe in your courage, in your heroism, in your devotion to the Motherland. And I have no doubt that all the goals we have set for ourselves as part of the special military operation will be achieved,” Putin added.
