This is what mobilization in Russia looks like through coercion into signing a contract.

In Blagoveshchensk, a man was looking for work through a Telegram group. He was offered a well-paid job at a Defense Ministry construction site. For each such man, the handler receives between 400,000 and 1 million rubles from the Russian Defense Ministry.

When the man was brought to one of the recruitment centers for contract military service, he realized where it was all heading. But it was already too late.

He had not signed any documents and does not want to be sent to war, so two men in civilian clothes came to him “for a talk.”

The Russian man’s arguments that he had not signed and did not want to sign any contract, and had not even passed the military medical commission, do not work. They kick him, intimidate him, and eventually take him away by force.

What will happen to him next is not hard to guess.

There is a strong chance that the new wave of mobilization will not be carried out the way it was in 2022, but as in Penza Region: by rounding up vulnerable categories with the help of private companies.
