Russian military personnel spent nearly a year posting headquarters orders and conference links in an open Telegram chat

Servicemen from the 143rd Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment spent nearly a year posting lists of military personnel, command orders, usernames and passwords for drone stream feeds, as well as links to video conferences in Yandex Telemost in an open Telegram chat.

They themselves called the chat “Fucking organization.” It was discovered by the outlet Astra. In April 2026, the administrators noticed that outsiders were being added to the chat, and since early May the group has stopped updating.

After Astra’s publication, the Z-blogger “Ugolny iz doma” said that inspectors had arrived to check on the military. He also called for the journalists themselves to be “put to the knife.”
