He is taking part in combat operations as part of the assault unit of the sabotage and reconnaissance подразделение “Rodnya,” the writer’s press service said.
“Ignat signed a contract,” they told TASS. The “Rodnya” unit, created by Zakhar Prilepin in 2023, is part of the Pyatnashka interbrigade, which has been accused of war crimes.
Ignat Prilepin is 21 years old.
The Pyatnashka interbrigade and its commander Akhra Avidzba are accused of a number of war crimes. These accusations include looting, car theft, torture of Ukrainian prisoners of war, and participation in illegal combat operations. Earlier, TV Rain found out that Avidzba himself was sitting in the stands next to Vladimir Putin at the May 9 parade.
