State Duma passes law allowing Russians to block incoming international calls

The State Duma has passed a law allowing Russians to place a ban on incoming international calls.

As TASS reports, this new measure is part of the second package of anti-fraud measures. In addition, the following laws were passed:

▪️On limiting the number of bank cards to no more than 20 per person. This law also gives banks the right to delay suspicious payments;

▪️ On banning the termination of a contract with a telecom operator earlier than 90 days after receiving a SIM card

▪️On the right of parents to notify the telecom operator about transferring a SIM card to a child and on introducing a panic button on Gosuslugi;

▪️ On creating a unified database of unique identifiers of mobile devices.
