Deripaska filed another lawsuit against the FBK
Mediazona drew attention to the fact that businessman Oleg Deripaska has filed a lawsuit with the Tagansky District Court of Moscow against several defendants over the video "Organized crime group, officials, girls. The criminal biography of Oleg Deripaska" on the Navalny LIVE YouTube channel.
The defendants named in the suit are the video's author and former host of the Popular Politics channel Irina Alleman, Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) investigators Maria Pevchikh and Sergei Yezhov, as well as Olga Romanova, director of the Rus Sidyashchaya foundation. They gave comments for the video.
According to Deripaska, the five defendants "have for several years been waging a large-scale campaign against him with the goal of tarnishing his honor and good name."
In the lawsuit, the businessman demands that the information about him be признать defamatory, that a retraction be published on the front page of the newspaper Kommersant and on the defendants' channels, and that one billion rubles be recovered from them jointly and severally, along with a penalty of 10,000 rubles from each defendant for every day until the court's decision is carried out.
This is already Deripaska's fifth lawsuit against representatives of the FBK: in February 2018, he demanded the removal of an investigation about him and sex worker Nastya Rybka (Anastasia Vashukevich) because of the publication of information about his private life. In 2020, Deripaska sued Alexei Navalny, and in March 2023 and December 2024 he sued Maria Pevchikh twice.
