Two teenagers were detained after a car explosion in Konkovo on charges of attempting to kill an employee of a research and production enterprise

“On June 9, a car belonging to an employee of one of the research and production enterprises exploded in a city parking lot,” the Investigative Committee said.

Investigators believe that “a minor girl, acting on the instructions of handlers,” passed an explosive device to “a minor boy,” who then planted it on the car.

They were detained yesterday. Both have been charged under articles covering attempted murder and the illegal manufacture, transfer, storage, and carrying of explosive substances.

🔵Yesterday, cars exploded twice in the Moscow region. In the morning, in Balashikha near Moscow, a BMW X3 exploded after it started moving. “VChK-OGPU,” without citing sources, reported that Damir Davydov, head of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Defense Ministry, was killed. In the evening, at the intersection of Vvedensky and Butlerov streets in Moscow, a Zeekr car exploded — there were no casualties.
