At the beginning of June, the Digital Development Ministry and Roskomnadzor agreed with the gaming platform Roblox on conditions to protect the rights and interests of Russian users, the ministry said.

"The corporation acknowledged that the existing technologies for protecting children from information dangerous to their life and health were ineffective," the agency's statement said.

Roblox gave guarantees that it would introduce a set of measures for additional protection of children from "harmful and dangerous information," as well as from undesirable behavior by other users. Starting in June, access to games will already be restricted by age groups. In addition, the platform will combat the spread of content that "harms the health and development of children."

The Digital Development Ministry and Roskomnadzor appealed to law enforcement agencies with a request to support lifting restrictions on Roblox in Russia.
