In the Urals, a war participant was sentenced to life for the murder and rape of his ex-wife and her daughter
The Central District Military Court in Yekaterinburg made that decision with regard to Perm Krai native Artyom Buchin, reports E1.ru citing sources.
The crime took place in August 2024 in the city of Chusovoy in Perm Krai amid a domestic conflict. According to media reports, a drunk Buchin accused his ex-wife, whom he wanted to marry again, of cheating. The murdered woman was 26 years old, and her daughter from a previous marriage was seven.
At the time of the crime, Buchin was an active serviceman and had come to Chusovoy on leave. He went to the war against Ukraine from a penal colony. In 2023, he was sentenced to 20 years in a penal colony in a murder and rape case.
