The Digital Development Ministry and Roskomnadzor asked security forces to support unblocking Roblox

"In connection with the guarantees of responsible conduct on the Russian market provided by Roblox, the Digital Development Ministry together with Roskomnadzor has appealed to the relevant law enforcement agencies with a request to support lifting restrictions on access to this platform in the territory of the Russian Federation," it said.

The Digital Development Ministry added that "at the beginning of June, coordination with Roblox on the necessary conditions for protecting the rights and interests of Russian users of the online gaming platform was successfully completed."

🔵In December, Roskomnadzor blocked Roblox in Russia over the “justification of extremism and terrorism,” as well as calls for violence and “LGBT propaganda.”

🔵Later, the company said it was ready to make changes to the platform’s operation in Russia in order to have the block lifted.

🔵Journalist Igor Belkin told TV Rain why “terrorism propaganda” in Roblox is Roskomnadzor’s “standard bullshit,” but that the problem of pedophilia on the platform does exist.
