Six Azerbaijani citizens killed after a Ukrainian drone attack on vessels in the Sea of Azov

Earlier, it was known that five people had been killed. Today, the country's Foreign Ministry reported that six Azerbaijani citizens were killed. Another 19 citizens were sent home.

After the completion of the relevant procedures, the bodies of the four deceased Azerbaijani citizens that were found, as well as two of our citizens who remain in the city of Yeysk to accompany them, are planned to be sent home in the coming days,

the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.

🔵The cargo ships Natra and Zirkon came under attack by drones in the Sea of Azov on the morning of June 5. They were traveling from Turkey to Rostov-on-Don to load grain. Five crew members were killed at the time, all of them Azerbaijani citizens.

🔵The commander of Ukraine's drone forces then said that the vessels were being used "for the quiet theft of Ukrainian grain and the transfer of military cargo and fuel."
