In Yekaterinburg, a war participant killed his ex-wife and daughter. Before that, he killed another person, but was released to go to the “SVO”

Artem Buchin, a resident of Perm Krai and a participant in the war in Ukraine, was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder and rape of his ex-wife and her 7-year-old daughter from another marriage, reports E1.RU citing a source.

The murder took place in August of the year before last in the city of Chusovoy. According to the outlet, a conflict arose then between Buchin and his ex-wife, during which she slapped the man, and he began strangling her.

Later, the wife’s daughter ran in after hearing the noise, and Buchin strangled her too. After they lost consciousness, the man raped and killed them. At trial, Buchin admitted guilt; the case was heard by the Central District Military Court.

In 2022, Artem Buchin was found guilty of the murder and rape of nurse Tatyana Rekutina in the same city of Chusovoy. That conflict also happened over a domestic dispute. Buchin was given 20 years in a penal colony, but later he signed a contract with the Defense Ministry and was able to get out of prison. After receiving a pardon, he returned to Chusovoy that same autumn because of an injury.

🔵59.RU writes that in 2018 Buchin had already been tried for violent robbery, and he was released in May 2022. Three months after that, he killed nurse Rekutina. She was survived by a daughter.

A Pardon Turned Into Another Sentence

A convicted killer got out by contract and killed his ex-wife and her daughter.

The state released him better than it protected anyone.
