💃💸 The fund of Putin’s younger daughter has earned record money in its history. Profits have also surged at Tikhonova’s commercial firms, while more than 2 billion rubles has accumulated in her personal accounts.Katerina Tikhonova’s National Intellectual Development Foundation earned 635 million rubles last year — a record amount for it, according to its financial statements, which “MO” analyzed.

🔹Putin’s younger daughter is the founder and CEO of the organization, which operates at Moscow State University under the Innopraktika brand. The NID Foundation’s net profit for 2025 amounted to 635 million rubles. That is almost 100 million rubles more than a year earlier (540 million). In total, over the four years of the war with Ukraine, Tikhonova’s fund has earned more than 1.6 billion rubles.

🔹In 2025, Tikhonova’s fund received 1.1 billion rubles in donations (100 million more than a year earlier). And it almost tripled its spending on management staff (86 million instead of 34 million). Katerina Tikhonova, according to the statements, holds the position of chair of the board of directors of the NID Foundation. Her friend Natalia Popova — the wife of chief negotiator with the United States Kirill Dmitriev — sits on the foundation’s board of directors.

🏦The Innopraktika fund was created in 2012 and conducts research in oil production, geology, biotechnology, and chemistry. Among its largest clients were Transneft, Rosneft, Rosatom. The board of trustees includes Viktor Sadovnichy, Igor Sechin, Sergey Chemezov, Alexey Miller, Pyotr Fradkov, and Kirill Dmitriev.

🔹Profit at the Innovative Engineering Center grew 100-fold, the company that is part of the business empire of Putin’s daughter (NID owns a controlling 51% stake in it). It works on import substitution and the implementation of Russian technologies in major corporations. Its partners include AvtoVAZ, Rosatom, Sber, Russian Railways, Gazprom, and other business giants. By the end of 2025, IEC’s profit had grown from 1 million to 99 million, and revenue from 96 million to 2.5 billion.

🔹Money in IEC’s accounts is growing at a cosmic pace, according to its statements. If in 2024 it held only 48 million rubles in its account at the Bank of Russia, then by the end of 2025 the amount of deposits had grown to 2.1 billion rubles. Tikhonova’s company works on import substitution quietly — there are no tenders mentioning it on the public procurement website. At the same time, in 2024 IEC received a state contract worth 80 million rubles.

🔹The profit of a company developing software for drones doubled. This concerns the firm Geoscan-IT, in which Tikhonova’s NID owns a 5% stake. Its profit grew from 14 million to 37 million, and revenue from 108 million to 165 million. The parent company of the “drone division” from Tikhonova’s empire (Geoscan) has not yet published its financial statements. It is the largest manufacturer of civilian drones in the Russian Federation, as well as software for data processing. In 2024, its profit amounted to 1.3 billion rubles.

🔹Katerina Tikhonova herself is a billionaire, “MO” found. As of January 2025, her deposit at Gazprombank held 2.3 billion rubles, according to a leak about Russians’ bank deposits. On that amount she also received 344 million in interest. Tikhonova’s common-law husband is former artistic director of the Bavarian State Ballet and People’s Artist of Russia Igor Zelensky, journalists found out in 2022. They have a daughter together.
