Lavrov Announces Meeting With Marco Rubio
According to the Russian foreign minister, his meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio "has been agreed upon and will take place on July 23 in the first half of the day," TASS writes.
According to Lavrov, "he will ask Rubio about Trump's words regarding the possibility of a quick settlement" of the war in Ukraine, the Russian state agency reports.
Lavrov said that Russia "proceeds from the assumption that the U.S. has not yet rejected its proposals made in Anchorage," Interfax writes.
