The OVD-Info Hackathon Is Happening! And Now It’s Even More Relevant
Hackathon by OVD-Info is happening! And now it’s even more relevant
Last week, OVD-Info was added to the list of extremist organizations, but we are continuing our work. And now developing new and secure ways to stay in touch with those in Russia who need help has become even more urgent. That is why from June 19 to 21 in Berlin we will hold the re:connect hackathon.
We have strengthened the security measures and code-of-conduct protocols for the hackathon, we are continuing to verify all applications from participants, and we have also added the option of anonymous participation.
At the same time, the risks still remain: the Russian authorities may interpret this as participation in extremist activity. Please take assessing the situation seriously. Here we have published detailed instructions on interacting with us. If you still have security questions, write to us and we will discuss everything: hackathon@ovdinfo.org.

❗️ Please note that public reposts of this post may be treated as participation in “extremist” activity.
A Hackathon Under Security Instructions
After the extremist listing, OVD-Info invites people to a hackathon with anonymous participation.
Helping now comes with participation warnings.
