The restrictions may also affect projects about maniacs and serial killers.

According to the publication, there are currently no plans to enshrine the new requirements in law. The Culture Ministry and the Internet Development Institute, as Kommersant's source claims, informed market participants about them verbally.

At the same time, a studio that violates the requirements may lose state funding for its next project.
