Spending on the Presidential Administration and Putin in 2027 will amount to almost 36.8 billion rubles. That is 3 billion 59 million rubles more than was planned when the 2026 budget was adopted, Verstka noted.
Of that amount, 21 billion 833 million rubles will go toward the salaries of Putin and the employees of his administration. Another 13 billion 477 million rubles will go toward the purchase of “goods and services” for the needs of the presidential administration.
Verstka notes that since the start of the war in Ukraine, the costs of maintaining Putin and his administration have grown by roughly 2.5 times: in the 2022 budget, the authorities allocated 14.7 billion rubles for these purposes.
