War. What is happening on day 1572

Ukrainian drones again attacked regions of Russia. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that 249 Ukrainian drones were shot down over 14 Russian regions, annexed Crimea, and the Sea of Azov.

✹ In Yaroslavl Region, drones struck the Rosrezerv oil depot in Rybinsk. A fire broke out there. Local residents said that an “oil rain” fell in the area around the city.

✹ In Tula Region, after the attack, a fire broke out at the Azot chemical plant. This enterprise is the country’s largest producer of ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers. Nitric acid is used in the production of explosives.

✹ In Oryol, a Ukrainian drone hit a multi-story residential building. Several apartments caught fire. One person was killed, and eight more were injured.

✹ In the city of Saky, a local woman was killed during the attack.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the strikes on enterprises in Tula and Yaroslavl regions. He emphasized that Ukraine attacked targets more than 700 kilometers from the border.

We offered Russia’s leadership every possible format of negotiations, but the only response was the continuation of aggression and attempts to expand it. It is logical that war returns to where it came from. Ukraine needs peace,

Zelensky added.

More details about the consequences of the attack are in our daily roundup.

The Shootdown Report Could Not Extinguish Fires

After 249 were reported downed, the oil depot and chemical plant still burned.

The report worked better than the defense.
