Since the start of the full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine, no fewer than 352,000 Russian servicemen have been killed, and one can only guess how many have been injured. You may have read that some of them are "concussed." In the Russian-language segment of social media and in the media, this term is often used in relation to any war veterans when some kind of brain injury is involved. "Contusion" is also regularly mentioned in laws and regulations governing assistance to military personnel who were harmed during combat operations. However, what exactly this word means is in fact not defined anywhere.
