Busification has begun in Penza.

This is being reported by the профильный channel "Mobilization | News" and other channels. In local chats, residents are writing en masse about raids and also posting photos and videos.

According to the reports, military men are driving around Penza in minibuses, grabbing men indiscriminately and taking them to the enlistment office. There, it all ends with a "voluntary signing of a contract."

A video (1) has appeared from the enlistment office on Skladskaya Street, where wives are trying to block a minibus with packed-in men. There is also a video where a man was pulled straight out of his BMW (2).

Raids are being reported not only in Penza, but in other localities across the region as well, and people are being rounded up not only on the streets but at their homes too. Audio (3) is a voice message from one of the chats:

"Send this to everyone so everybody knows what’s going on in Kamenka: a black minibus is driving around, seven people in it, they’re rounding people up too. An order came down that 700 people have to be taken from Kamenka. They’re taking everyone.

Last night they took 20 people: one went out for milk, one was grabbed by the trash bins, one was taken from home, one was pulled out of a tractor, one was taken from a fishing spot - Kamenka, Kuznetsk, Penza. They even took some shepherd from a field.

Here’s a video a lawyer filmed - one woman sent it - she’s asking for it to be forwarded to absolutely everyone, so that everyone keeps an eye on their men, doesn’t let them go anywhere, doesn’t let them out anywhere".

I can confirm it: today a subscriber from Penza wrote to me too and sent screenshots and messages.

So they decided to do it quietly, without any official announcement after all (even though the mobilization announced in September 2022 was never canceled). On the one hand, it was expected, and it still doesn’t make it any easier. Ukraine needs a lot of trucks with drones, and Europe needs to help with volunteers for the AFU. Because somebody also has to operate the truckloads of Ukrainian drones, and manpower is Russia’s objective advantage.
