🔹Russia came under the most massive Ukrainian drone attack since the start of the war. The oil refinery in Kapotnya, the Sadovod market, and several residential buildings in Moscow and the Moscow region were damaged. Seventeen people were injured.
🔹Zelensky called the attack on Moscow a response to the strike on the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Lavrov commented on the strike with Putin’s threat to begin “carrying out massive group strikes on a regular basis.”
🔹The presidents of the United States and Iran signed a memorandum of understanding. It extends for another 60 days the ceasefire declared in April so the sides can agree on a permanent peace. After that, the United States lifted its naval blockade of Iran.
🔹In Poland, a suspect was detained in the murder of artist Semyon Skrepetsky. Police added that “the detainee used a passport issued in the name of a 36-year-old Georgian citizen.”
🔹A student who ordered pizza in Hitler’s name was arrested for five days.
