It has already reached my city. I’m not afraid for myself, but I feel sorry for other people. None of us chose this.

The war has long since entered a phase in which no one (among the military) spares anyone. Ukrainians have crossed the moral line of “you must not strike civilians” — unfortunately, that was predictable. The notorious argument “why are they allowed to, but we aren’t” has worked again, and again in the worst possible way.

And there is no one to discuss the war with. Criminal liability is предусмотрена for my views, so I just keep quiet. You can’t convince even relatives whose brains have been rotted by television of anything, and starting such conversations with strangers…
