The Kyiv Pechersk Lavra has already been destroyed by earthquakes, fires, and Batu Khan’s army. But this time the monastery caught fire because of Russian shelling. How serious are the consequences? And what are they saying about it in Russia?

Architectural journalist Asya Zolnikova explains the details.
