He said this in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta, which Agentstvo drew attention to.

"After the terrorists were eliminated, all the hostages should have received the necessary assistance. It should have been provided by the rescue services that entered the auditorium after the special forces. But they were confused. As a result, not all the victims were injected with the antidote, and some of the hostages received a double dose. This is what led to the losses," Nikolai Patrushev said.

In 2002, he headed the FSB. The head of the Emergency Ministry at the time was Sergei Shoigu.

The hostage-taking of more than 900 spectators at the Nord-Ost musical took place on October 23, 2002. During the assault, Russian special services used a gas whose composition was not disclosed for a long time. According to official data, 130 hostages were killed, including 10 children.
