Gas stations operated by Bashneft, Rosneft, and TNK banned gasoline sales into canisters due to "increased seasonal demand"

Rosneft, Bashneft, and TNK gas stations have banned gasoline sales into canisters in all regions of Russia, linking it to "increased seasonal demand." This was reported by Verstka, citing hotline operators.

"Due to increased seasonal demand, refueling is only allowed directly into a vehicle’s tank. This applies to all gas stations in the Rosneft, Bashneft, and TNK network. This information is being provided to all customers in Russia. The restrictions are temporary," the outlet quoted the operator as saying.

The hotline also said there are restrictions on fueling cars into the tank, but advised people to clarify that information "at the moment" directly at the gas station.

"Today it’s one thing, tomorrow another," the operator explained. Another operator said that "as a rule" there is a 90-liter limit.
