German Chancellor Friedrich Merz arrived in Kyiv
He was accompanied by Economy Minister Katherina Reiche and major business leaders from the energy and defense sectors.
According to Reuters sources, Merz will announce the allocation of one billion euros in military aid and 350 million for the restoration of the energy sector.
An agreement on joint Ukrainian-German drone production is also expected to be signed during the visit.
