The G7 leaders’ statement on Ukraine.

Well, if there is anything notable about it, it is that Trump signed off on all of this:

▪️Unwavering support for Ukraine in defending its freedom, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

▪️High praise for Ukraine’s resilience and its successes on the battlefield in recent months, with a "new momentum" emphasized.

▪️An agreement to increase deliveries of air defense systems and long-range strike capabilities.

▪️Readiness to consider the issue of granting Ukraine licenses in order to expand its military production.

▪️An agreement to provide further support so that Ukraine can get through the next winter.

▪️A commitment to increase pressure on Russia’s military economy and strengthen sanctions, including against the oil and gas sector.

P.S. This is only a statement. I have long been skeptical of such things and expect nothing from them. When there are actual decisions, then we can celebrate. The most interesting point in that respect is the one about granting Ukraine licenses to produce weapons.
