Residents of Moscow and the Moscow Region said there were no alerts about the largest drone attack since the start of the war

Residents of Moscow and the Moscow Region said that during one of the most massive attacks by the Ukrainian military on the capital, they did not receive SMS alerts about a drone threat, and the sirens were not turned on. Residents of the two regions told this to Verstka and also wrote about it in local chats.

“I didn’t get an SMS in Moscow. As for the sirens, maybe I was sleeping too well, but I didn’t hear them either,” said a Moscow resident.

Verstka confirmed this information with three more Muscovites. A resident of the Moscow Region also told Verstka about a similar problem: “I didn’t get any SMS messages about a drone threat. And I think not just me. And there were no sirens either.”

People are also writing about the lack of alerts in both Moscow and Moscow Region chats.

“But the worst thing is that no alerts came at all. Why are we supposed to learn this info from TG channels and TikTok. Why didn’t the SMS come?” a user wrote in one of the capital’s chats.

In the comments under a post by Moscow Region governor Andrei Vorobyov, people are leaving dozens of complaints about the lack of alerts.

“Why is there no warning system at all? No sirens, no SMS? Are people supposed to figure out for themselves that drones are flying in?” one commenter wrote.

This morning, news broke of one of the most massive drone attacks on Moscow. On NTV, it was said that for the capital this was the largest attack in two years, and by 9 a.m. 180 drones had been shot down.
